A kind note to the frequent white queso seekers here that Salsa Family Market in Ravenswood sells outstanding white queso. They had a jalapeño white cheese dip too.
This tub joins their mango salsa and tomatillo salsa as my favorite dips here. Their homemade chili crisp sauce and weekend pozole also reign.
This is the best little Mexican bodega and I love their team so much. Please give them all your money and love.

Feel compelled to mention I went out of my way to come up here today after seeing this post. Picked up the white queso, corn dip, a spicy salsa, and fresh tamales. I’ll be trying it all tonight, but a special shout out to the iced horchata matcha latte! Outstanding on this warm September day.
